Marissa ...

Marissa’s Kitchen is the venture of Marissa Hardie, an experienced teacher with 20+ years in the industry.  Marissa has a Culinary Arts education from the Culinary Institute of America, and the lessons learned from working side-by-side with scores of professional chefs, mentors, fellow cooks and students.

Marissa has been a dining critic and food writer for regional magazines, a corporate chef-consultant, and has worked as a line cook, a kitchen manager, and owned her own catering business and gourmet-to-go shop.  Her experience spans five states, and she’s cooked and staged in some of the finest kitchens in New York City and Westchester.  Marissa has hours of  experience and  instruction in food demonstration and recipe development, both for the home cook and the professional.

Marissa's formal education continues with professional instruction at the Culinary Institute of America and the French Culinary Institute.
